1. What are the differences between RCI Points and RCI Weeks?

As an RCI Points Member, you receive all the benefits of RCI's traditional vacation exchange program, RCI Weeks, plus a lot more!  RCI Points gives you greater flexibility and more options on how you vacation.  How long you vacation and the size of your accommodations are completely up to you.  RCI Points also provides you access to hundreds of travel and leisure-related products.

2.  Will my RCI Points ever go up or down?

Yes.  If there is a distinct quality or amenity change at your resort that impacts comment card scores over time, the value could change.  For example, if your resort builds two new Olympic-size pools, your RCI Points values could go up.  RCI will not arbitrarily change RCI Points Values.

3. What happens if I don't use my RCI Points before the end of my Use Year?

The RCI Points will automatically be saved to the next Use Year.

4.  Will I be charged a fee for saving my RCI Points?

If you've made at least 1 transaction with RCI Points during the Use Year, there is no charge.  

5.  Can I send a guest on a reservation made in my name?

Your reservation can be given to friends or family by paying a Guest Certificate fee. 

6.  When can I borrow RCI Points?

When making a reservation, you can borrow RCI Points from the subsequent Use Year into the current Use Year.

7.  What happens if I borrow RCI Points, then cancel my reservation?

The borrowed RCI Points will be returned to the original Use Year from which they were borrowed.

8.  How can I obtain more RCI Points?

If you want more RCI Points to make a reservation, you can borrow RCI Points from your Next Use Year.

9. Can my RCI Points expire?

Yes.  RCI Points can be used for up to 2 years.  After 2 years, unused RCI Points will expire unless you call RCI to extend them for a fee.

10.  How do I make an RCI Weeks Exchange if I am an RCI Points subscribing member?

You may request an exchange to an RCI affiliated resort participating in RCI Weeks anytime from 2 years to 2 days before your desired check-in date.  An RCI Guide will be able to tell you the number of RCI Points required.  RCI Weeks exchange fees apply.

11.  What happens if I cancel a confirmed RCI Points resort reservation?

The RCI Points returned to you are based on how far in advance the reservation is cancelled.  Cancellations made 90 days or greater in advance of travel, the RCI Points are reassigned at 100% value.  Your transaction fee is not returned
